A History of Caring for People
My background demonstrates how I truly care about people. I graduated from Texas Christian University and obtained my master's degree in social worfk from Tulane University. After graduating from Tulane, I worked as a social worker in mental health centers. Then I began teaching social work at a local university.
I decided to go to law school and graduated from the University of North Carolina in 1983. Following graduation, I became a law clerk to United States Magistrate Barbara H. Delaney in the Western District of North Carolina.
After several years with a local law firm, I opened my own practice in 1996. I am a board-certified specialist in family law and continue my history of caring about people by focusing my practice in the area of family law, handling matters such as pre-nuptial agreements, divorce and pre-divorce planning.
